I have been using Kottayam Cars for over 10 years and can confidently say they are the most professional car rental company I have come across in Kerala.
My first experience was back in 2016 when I hired an XUV W10 from Biju Chettan and his team. The service was excellent from the very beginning. I also used Kottayam Cars to provide identical Mercedes S-Class vehicles for my wedding, which was handled flawlessly and helped make the occasion even more special.
I returned again in 2019 for a holiday in Kerala and hired another vehicle. Whilst that particular car was slightly dated, it was still reliable and served its purpose without any issues.
Most recently, from 20th May to 5th June 2026, I hired a Toyota Hycross for my sister-in-law’s wedding and several important family functions. As these were significant occasions, I specifically requested a vehicle in excellent condition, and the team absolutely delivered. The Hycross was immaculate inside and out, drove perfectly throughout the trip, and gave us complete peace of mind. We covered over 2,000 km during the hire period, all of which was included in the agreed price. They also had fasttag installed in the vehicle which just made my life easy as I just paid the amount used in the final invoice.
What impressed me most was the flexibility and customer service. Halfway through the rental, I enquired about changing vehicles and the team were immediately willing to arrange an exchange, even having another vehicle ready for me. In the end, I decided not to proceed because the alternative vehicle was smaller than the one I had hired, but it demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction.

The fact that I have continued returning to Kottayam Cars over a decade speaks for itself. Their service, honesty, vehicle quality and willingness to go the extra mile set them apart from other rental companies. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone visiting Kerala and will certainly be hiring from them again on my next trip.
